Whether the space utilization is reasonable: whether the design considers the reasonable use of space and whether it can meet the spatial functional requirements of the building. As long as the spatial functional requirements of the building are met, do not blindly pursue large spans and large spaces, because larger spans will lead to a sharp increase in the amount of steel used. As long as there is no waste of space and the layout is reasonable, it will be fine.
Whether the durability of the building can be achieved: the selection of steel material, corrosion resistance, whether the wind and snow load is reasonable, fire prevention measures, whether the seismic performance is considered, etc. will affect whether the steel structure building has sufficient durability within the service life.
Cost control: Compare the cost budget of the design plan, including material cost, construction cost, transportation, installation cost, etc., whether it is within the project budget.
Whether the design shape conforms to the building function and whether it is beautiful and reasonable: If it is a simple factory building, there is no need for complex shape design, simple and generous will be better. For buildings with complex shapes, the feasibility of processing and installation should be considered, and the structure should be as simple and clear as possible.
If it is a drawing designed by a steel structure manufacturer, the owner can find a professional designer for evaluation. For any building, design is the first and most important step. The rationality of the building design is related to the construction and safety of the building. Sometimes it may take several months or even a year for the designer to make the drawings, but it may only take two months for processing and installation.
